Nalanda Confluence Institute
Nalanda Confluence Institute© (NCI) is an independent online and experiential academic teaching and research institution that will be in affiliation with both US and Indian institutes of higher education and research in the Sciences and Humanities, for operation nationally and internationally. Nalanda Confluence Institute™ serves as a Pan-Dharma Graduate School and Dharma Seminary online for both Dharma Studies & Applied Dharma Programs in various fields. Dharma Studies refers to scholarship and teaching of the indigenous wisdom traditions of India (Hindu, Jain, Buddhist, and Sikh Dharma) within the parameters of international standards of academic excellence, and in reference to the self-understanding and history of interrelationship of these traditions. Applied Dharma refers to Interdisciplinary Programs in several fields that are informed by elements of the indigenous knowledge systems of the Indic civilization including non-essentialized dharmic principles, which have similarities and differences in relation to the four Dharma Traditions. Nalanda Confluence Institute is the first institution of its kind, and seeks to transform the landscape of Dharma Teaching, Transmission, and Application.
